Hi! Sparks and friends,
This meeting would be the only meeting in Dec.
Out meeting theme is: media literacy
In a time when AI is developing quickly and social media algorithms are becoming more and more precise in choosing, we are exposed to a huge amount of information every day.
Many messages can be hard to judge, and some may even be taken out of context or intentionally misleading. In this environment, building our media literacy skills has become essential.
With so much information—and with AI-generated content that looks very real—how can we find accurate news? And how can we quickly notice when something might be false? These are important challenges we all need to deal with.
This week, our meeting theme is media literacy. Please choose one of the questions below and send your thoughts to the Toastmaster of Evening:
- Have you ever been misled by false information in your daily life?
- With AI videos becoming more realistic, have you started learning how to tell what is real and what is fake?
We hope this discussion will help everyone become more aware of media literacy and work together to create a healthier information environment.
