Dear Spark members and guests,
Here are GE Rita's suggestions for our meeting on August 9:
1. It's better to have a good mix of junior and senior speakers.
2. The Table Topics session master should call on members, not non-Toastmaster guests, to answer questions first, so that the guests can observe and have a better idea of what to do.
Other members'/guests' suggestions:
1. I like Spark very much. Tiffany is our best role model. It would be nice if Spark could have the projector and computer available every time.
Tiff's feedback: Thanks for your compliment and suggestion! Spark is now sharing our projector with Sparkle, and Ron Chen volunteered to bring the projector to the meeting when requested. Therefore, Spark members, if you need to use a laptop or/and a projector, please inform our VPE Bill in advance, so that we can make arrangements for you.
2. During the intermission, Spark members should have more interaction with new guests (non-TMs).
Tiff's feedback: Spark members, please take the initiative to talk to our non-TM guests: introduce Spark TMC to them, get to know them, and most importantly of all, make them feel welcomed. We need every members' help in greeting our guests; it's not just the officers' responsibility. (Can you imagine that you attend a TM meeting, surrounded by strangers, and no one shows any interest in talking to you? That must be AWFUL!)
