New members can inject new life to our club by bringing their fresh ideas and new interests. Weeks ago, I turned to Roger for advice on new member recruitment. Then he helped me realize how important the mentor/mentee system is.
To quote Roger:
"Hi, I'm a mentor. If you join our club, I'll be responsible to help you work through the manuals." That's what non-members want to hear.”
Every one of us was a new member before. I believe you can imagine how assuring it will be if the mentors in our club can take the initiative to help out the new members. The success of a club cannot simply rely on the office team. We need every member's contribution, and YOU can help! Please come to the meeting tomorrow and learn how to be a mentor. I believe you can apply such knowledge to your workplace as well.
